DA Willis Ordered To Pay Big Fine For Violations In Trump Case

Fulton County DA Fani Willis has been ordered to pay over $54,000 in legal fees for violating. Georgia’s

Open Records Act after failing to provide documents requested by attorney Ashleigh Merchant, who represents Michael Roman, a co-defendant in the Trump election case.

A judge criticized Willis’ office for showing “open hostility” and a “lack of good faith” in handling the requests.
