Evansville Walmart to hold grand reopening Friday morning

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV)— The Evansville Walmart Supercenter at 401 North Burkhardt Road announce they will host a grand reopening this Friday.

The Supercenter has recently completed a full remodel, and they are excited to welcome the community back to experience the new changes.

The celebration will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and feature food trucks, vendor giveaways, a special performance of the National Anthem by the local high school, and the unveiling of a community-inspired mural created by artist Adrienne Luther.

The event will also be attended by several local Evansville organizations and elected officials, including Mayor Stephanie Terry and Assistant Police Chief Nathan Hassler.
