American Airlines launches nonstop service from Evansville to Chicago

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — American Airlines is kicking off non-stop service from Evansville to Chicago.

Officials say it will increase the quality of place and critical connectivity for businesses, talent, and travelers in Southwest Indiana.

Officials with the Evansville Regional Airport say flights will offer twice-daily service to Chicago O’Hare Airport, connecting travelers with one stop to more than 120 domestic and international destinations.

We’re told the flights will have 50 seats onboard.

Flights to Chicago will depart Evansville in the morning and afternoon and return to Evansville in the afternoon and evening.

Evansville Regional Airport officials say EVV’s new non-stop Chicago service is a testament to solid community support and more passengers choosing to Fly EVV first, coupled with strong partnerships at the local, state, and airline level.
