The Beginnings of Their Unique Journey
In 2013, Carrie and Craig were presented with a life-changing opportunity. A woman reached out to them, inquiring if they would consider adopting the twins she was carrying. Despite their initial plans of having biological children, the couple decided to embrace this unexpected path.

“She said she was pregnant and wasn’t able to give the babies the lives they deserved and wanted to put them up for adoption,” Carrie shared. “We just felt like that was what God wanted us to do, so we decided to put our own plans down and pursue the plan that God had for us and that was to adopt first.”

Adalynn and Kenna, the twins they adopted, were born on February 28, 2014. Interestingly, this date coincided with the birthday of their biological siblings, JJ and CeCe, who were born the previous year.

A Continuing Tale of Surprises
A year after adopting Adalynn and Kenna, the Kosinskis received another unexpected call from the twins’ biological mother. She asked if they would also adopt JJ and CeCe, their older siblings. The couple, committed to their extraordinary journey, once again agreed.

In September 2015, Carrie and Craig received news that they were expecting twins of their own. Carrie’s pregnancy took an unforeseen turn, and she underwent an emergency C-section on February 28, 2016. The twins, defying their expected birth date by three months, entered the world on the same day as their adopted siblings.

“It’s such a huge blessing to us. We love all our children the same. We wouldn’t want our lives to be any different,” Carrie expressed.

“They are all very different. Each has their very own personality, which is very fun, but we get pulled in six different directions,” Carrie remarked.
