Bride Is Devastated After Her Husband Dies Just 10 Minutes After The Wedding

Only minutes after Bride Johnnie Mae Dennis married the love of her life, the groom suffered a blood clot that killed him. The groom was Toraze Dennis, and he died while he and his new wife were taking wedding photos outside of their wedding venue in Omaha, Nebraska, on Monday. The bride and everyone who knew the groom is devastated at the tragic and sudden loss of Toraze Dennis.

Although everything was going great for Johnnie Mae on the day of her wedding – it really was the happiest day of her life – her new husband did not survive the entire celebration as he died from complications from a blood clot minutes after their wedding ceremony.

We were in the church, and it was a beautiful ceremony. It was the happiest day of Toraze’s life,’ Jewel Robeson, a friend of the bride, told KETV.

Another friend of Johnnie Mae’s named Monica Miller, confirmed that Toraze was having the time of his life and could not have been happier to finally marry his beloved bride.

Miller said, “I could just see the smile on his face and how happy he was.”

Toraze’s life came to a screeching halt at 4:35 pm on Monday – just one hour after their wedding ceremony began and minutes after they had officially become husband and wife. Toraze’s heart stopped during his wedding after he suffered a fatal blood clot that caused him to lose a lot of blood.

Although the couple had only been married for a few minutes, Johnnie Mae was left a widow after her husband tragically passed away after their ceremony.

“It happened within seconds,” said Robeson, who was present during the final moments of Toraze’s life. Other people who were there to watch Toraze collapse to the ground from heart failure were the couple’s children, their family members, and loads of good life-long friends.

Miller wants people to know that the family has started a GoFundMe account to help Johnnie Mae deal with the sudden loss of her new husband.

“Both Johnnie Mae and Toraze planned on living the rest of their lives together,” Miller said. “Unfortunately, Toraze gave his last breath shortly after saying, ‘I Do.’ All our hearts are aching for Johnnie Mae and her children.”

The bride has “suffered through so much.” Her good friends and family are now trying to be present for the bride after she suddenly lost the love of her life.

Miller added: “We really want to stress that we want to be able to take care of her.”

Another friend of the bride’s, Tonja Ross, used Toraze’s tragic death as a reminder that everyone needs to take their health and wellness as seriously as they can.

“It is important to keep being active in your health, so your happiest day does not turn into the most devastating day of your life or your loved ones’ life,” said Ross.
