If You Need To Smile Today, Watch This Little Boy Learning How To Use The Potty

Some days you just need something to make you smile. And if you’ve been having a rough day, then this clip of a young boy learning to use the toilet will be just the remedy for you. When the video starts running, Matty, the little boy, is already seated upon the potty. Not only has he delivered a successful load into the toilet, but he has also given dad a little something extra to be proud of – a poop!

But Matty is not willing to take credit for the stinky log floating in the toilet bowl. Although the evidence is undeniable – although you might not be able to smell the stink through your screen, you can bet that his baby doodoo smells something fierce. Dad has no doubt that Matty not only peed into the potty but dropped a deuce as well.

The backbone of the video is simple. Dad just wants Matty to admit to pooping in the toilet. But as it turns out, Matty is not so quick to take credit when credit is due. Although he certainly dropped a few nuggets of brown gold into the porcelain throne, the little boy is not ready to admit it to his dad, who was watching him squeeze through every grunt in the process.

Matty is more than eager to admit to peeing in the toilet. But the admission of his poop is a little slow to come. Not only does he want the boy to tell him what happened, dad cannot help but laugh along to his son’s silly reaction to pooping in the potty for one of the first times in his life.

“I didn’t poop! I peed,” Matty claims in the video. However, he engages with his dad in a bizarre voice that makes dad laugh. Because the voice is so silly, dad cannot hold back his laughter, and it just keeps slipping out from between his lips.

Matty’s mom shared the video to Facebook, where it went viral millions of times over. At the time of this writing, the short clip, which is only about a minute long, has been viewed more than 29 million times. His mom, Dani, found that she had a great video on her hands worth its weight in viral gold.

People shared many comments about the cute potty training video. Here are just a few comments shared in the public venue.

“I know why he’s doing that voice, Dani… he’s the son of you and Greg! He can’t help but to be naturally entertaining! So very precious!”

“Matty, my hubby and I love watching this video of you. Our favorite part is the way you move your finger while saying I peed and your concerned face while asking, ‘is sad daddy?’ ADORABLE!”

This cute video has been online for a few months now but is still extremely popular among people on Facebook. With millions of views, it can be said with confidence that this video is one to remember.

What do you think about Matty’s potty-training escapades?
