Even though they may consider their spouse or boyfriend, or girlfriend their best friend, they might not tell them every little thing they think or do. One girlfriend had been hiding a bad habit from her boyfriend for a long time – and he only discovered her “disgusting” behavior after he cleaned their shared bedroom.

The man decided to share his girlfriend’s disgusting habit with millions of other people via the Reddit website. He snapped a photo of their bedroom wall and uploaded the image to the website to show off how disgusting the woman he sleeps with is. Apparently, she has been throwing her disposable contact lenses behind the bed against the wall for months.

The image shared on Reddit shows hundreds of light blue discs and contact lenses against the wall along the floor. The woman had been disposing of them simply by taking them out of her eyes while in bed and tossing them behind the headboard where she thought no one would ever see them.

Unfortunately, the boyfriend tried to do something nice by cleaning up their bedroom. And he was shocked to find that his girlfriend had been disposing of the contact lenses in this way for a very long time. She simply discards them behind the bed when she is done with them.

“My significant other throws her daily contacts behind the headboard of our bed,” the man wrote to accompany his Reddit post.

Soon after he posted the content, thousands of people shared comments. More than 12,000 comments have accumulated on the Reddit post since the man shared the disgusting photo with people online. These people largely agreed that the girlfriend was “disgusting” for discarding her used contact lenses in this way.

“People like this blow my mind. Like, where do you think it’s gonna go? Clean that s*it up,” one person commented.

Another wrote: “I just… don’t get this. My house isn’t perfect by any means. I put off vacuuming and dusting and scrubbing toilets. But stuff like this just adds madness to the mayhem.”

Other people shared disgusting habits they’d experienced in the past. One person wrote about how their old roommate would regularly leave bacon grease in the pan, hoping someone else would clean it up.

“I used to have a roommate who would keep excessive amounts of bacon grease sitting in her cast iron pan,” they wrote. “I don’t just mean a little bit of oil residue as part of the seasoning. I mean big white goops of rendered and re-congealed fat. Many of us tried to convince her that it was bad, but she simply left it there in the pan until the next time she cooked – at which time she would wipe away the excess and cook with the pan again.”
