A Little Boy Whispered His Last Words In The Hospital, And Now His Mom Is Going To Jail

In the early morning hours on Sunday, eleven-year-old Bruce Johnson, Jr. died from multiple stab wounds. However, the young victim managed to tell authorities who did it before he passed away – and now his mom is going to jail for killing her son. Bruce was stabbed in his own bed at his father’s New Mexico home but managed to alert authorities to his killer right before he died from the multiple stab wounds.

Bruce Johnson Sr. awoke to his son’s screams and found his boy bleeding to death in his bed. The family’s home is located in Hobbs, New Mexico. The boy’s father immediately called 911 to report the incident and claimed to have found the boy’s estranged mother, Mary Johnson, unconscious in another room after suffering from a “self-inflicted” stab wound to her own chest.

When medics arrived at the scene, they rushed to help the pair of stab victims. They arrived at the New Mexico property around 1 am and brought both Mary and her son to a nearby hospital. However, the young stab victim died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at 4:19 am that same morning.

Meanwhile, Mary pulled through, and her condition stabilized. But since her son managed to alert authorities to how she had stabbed him, she was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder after she was relocated to another hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

The Lea County Sheriff’s Office said: “Mr. Johnson told deputies that he was asleep when he heard his son screaming. He found his son in his room, lying on the bed suffering from stab wounds. He went to call 911 when he discovered Mary was also stabbed, but she was unconscious in another room. Mary suffered self-inflicted stab wounds to her chest. Bruce Jr. was conscious upon arriving at the hospital, where he spoke with the investigator, advising his mom, Mary, had stabbed him.”

Bruce Sr. moved to New Mexico from Oklahoma to get his son away from his estranged mother. She was allegedly suffering from mental health problems and had allegedly been abusing her young son. There were reports from at least two incidents related to abuse between the mother and her son.

Mary was active on social media and posted a bizarre message from Kinston, Oklahoma, on June 8, 2022, writing: “Get your God degree to become a God! All you need to do is believe in yourself, respect others, and spread kindness.”

In another bizarre social media rant, she wrote, “My son and I discovered he can hear every f***** thing that I’m thinking. I don’t like this God! My son does not need to be listening to me talking to you! Any other mothers have this problem, or do I fall in that 2% category again? This is why I don’t want kids! They don’t give me freedom. I’m heard writing, thinking, reading, sleeping … Who wants to be Mother God?”

Before the murder, Mary had been separated from her son for about forty days. She was desperate to see her boy. Bruce Sr. allowed Mary to visit them in New Mexico while their divorce went through. That’s when the attack occurred.
