Actor On Beloved Show Dies After Tragic Accident

Heartland is a very popular show that takes place in Alberta, Canada. The show chronicles the complicated lives of a cross-generational family moving through the ups and downs of life. Tragically, thirty-three-year-old actor Robert Cormier, who played Finn on season fifteen of Heartland, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. According to a report in the Hollywood Reporter, Robert’s sister Stephanie stated that Robert died from injuries he sustained in a fall and died while under the care of world-class doctors in a hospital in Ontario, Canada.

Although Cormier’s official cause of death has not been made public, it appears that the fall did catastrophic damage to his body. The actor was also an athlete and a great brother, according to his beloved sister.

His obituary states, “Robert was an athlete, an actor, and a great brother. He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more. He enjoyed movie nights with his family and looked up greatly to his father.”

After the actor tragically lost his life back in September, Heartland posted a memorial to Cormier on their social media channel that included an image of the actor in his role of Finn along with a caption that stated, “Robert Cormier, aka Heartland’s Finn, was an amazing talent, gone too soon. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his friends, family, and coworkers.”

Hundreds of people replied to the social post and shared their thoughts and remembrances of Cormier.

“Just seeing this for the 1st time. So tragic. Heartfelt sympathies go out to all of his loved ones. May he Rest In Peace.”

“Prayers go to you and your family. He will be missed on Heartland.”

“It just broke my heart when I heard of his passing. He and Amber were a cute couple together, and I was looking forward to seeing where their romance was going to go. I am praying that they replace the actor on the show and not kill him off. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HEARTLAND, THE ENTIRE CAST, AND THE CREW OF THE SHOW. PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEASON 17 AND MORE AFTER THAT!”

“I’m so sorry for his family! That is so tragic! Praying for all who loved him!”

“Too many young, healthy people dying and not enough questions being asked.”

“How sad!! I just saw this news. Thoughts and prayers to Robert’s family and friends and the #Heartland cast who worked with him. I was looking forward to seeing more of Finn’s story.”

The Heartland family has been mourning the loss of Robert ever since, but his memory will live on through his impactful performances. He will always be remembered for his professionalism and kind nature.

Robert’s legacy of kindness and compassion lives on in the hearts of everyone he worked with and touched. He will be dearly missed and remembered fondly. Our thoughts are with Robert’s family, friends, and castmates at this difficult time.
