Grandma’s final photo of granddaughter minutes before she’s k1lled

A grandmother unknowingly captured a heartbreaking final moment just before a devastating hit-and-run took the life of three-year-old Scarlett Jensen on October 7, 2022.

Scarlett and her two-year-old brother, Henry, were under their grandmother’s care in Oldtown, Idaho, when tragedy struck. A speeding Chevy Tahoe barreled down their private driveway, hitting both children before their grandmother could pull them to safety.

“My mother was waving her hands, screaming for him to stop. She tried to grab my children… but he was going too fast,” recalled their grieving mother, Samantha Jensen. “Scarlett was killed almost instantly, and my mom and Henry were critically injured.”

The driver fled the scene, leaving behind shattered lives. Authorities later arrested him, and he was sentenced to ten years in prison for the fatal hit-and-run. Read more below
