In 2019, Kelly Clarkson surprised fans attending her “Meaning of Life” show in Green Bay, Wisconsin with a show-stopping cover of “Shallow,” the 2018 Grammy and Golden Globe winning song, originally performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in the hit film A Star is Born.

“This chick is amazing,” Clarkson, 42, said of Gaga, who co-wrote the song for the romantic that she starred alongside Cooper.

“This song, I love it…I thought she and Bradley Cooper did such an awesome job with this song, it’s called ‘Shallow’ and so we’re doing to do our own version of it because obviously I don’t have a Bradley Cooper here.”“I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she doesn’t see it,” Clarkson added, according to People.
