Dr. Kelly Powers, a renowned physician, surgeon, and Fox News contributor, has left an unforgettable mark on the world. Her passing on December 1, 2024, at the age of 45, has sparked widespread grief, particularly as she leaves behind her beloved 3-year-old son, Bennett Joseph Doll. Dr. Kelly Powers’ legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and an unyielding commitment to making a difference, even while battling glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Dr. Kelly Powers’ legacy began to take shape in 2020 when she faced one of life’s toughest challenges. After collapsing in her apartment, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, leading to a battle against glioblastoma. Despite her initial fears, Powers exhibited extraordinary courage, undergoing three brain surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. Even amidst her personal struggles, she remained a source of strength and hope for others, demonstrating the kind of resilience that defined her life.

Her resolve extended to building her family. Advised against pregnancy due to her medical condition, Dr. Powers and her husband, Steven Doll, turned to surrogacy. In March 2021, their son Bennett was born, a ray of joy during her ongoing treatments. Powers’ social media reflected her gratitude and love, showcasing her unbreakable spirit and the happiness she found in her growing family.

Dr. Kelly Powers faced her challenges head-on, but the return of her cancer in February 2024 marked another uphill battle. True to her resilient nature, she declared, “This lil’ nugget is not going to win.” Unfortunately, conventional treatments proved ineffective. Her family turned to an innovative therapy offered in Germany, raising over $88,000 through a GoFundMe campaign. Despite these efforts, Powers passed away before receiving the treatment.
