In 1993, This Boy Was Born With Enough Skin For A Five-Year-Old. But Wait Till You See Him Today

Many touching tales have warmed our hearts over the years, but the one about Tomm Tennent is unique.

Tomm was born with too much skin on him. In fact, rather than covering a baby, he had enough skin on a 5-year-old child. The doctors said they had never seen anyone like him when he was delivered because of how wrinkled he was.

“When he emerged, I was really surprised. “I never imagined a human, or a small child, could look like that,” Tomm’s father, Geoff Tennent, said in a 2003 interview with 60 Minutes Australia.

The Tennent family experienced a lot growing up with their special kid from the day of his birth, but it’s difficult not to cry when you see him now.The family knew Tomm would be unique from the moment he was born in 1993.

However, parents were unaware that the boy would enter this world known as a medical enigma prior to his birth. Nevertheless, ultrasounds revealed that there is a problem with him.

Tomm’s parents were uncertain about whether to retain the child when they initially learned about it.

Geoff Tennent, Tommy’s father, said, “We kind of discussed this between us and we decided what’s meant to be is meant to be and we went through with it.” Read more below
