David Beckham tied the knot with Victoria Beckham on 4th July, 1999. Since then, the couple has grown together exponentially in their careers and even personal lives. David Beckham went on to become one of the most popular football players in the world. While Victoria Beckham was already a legend in her own rite; she was part of the sensational music group Spice Girls as Posh Spice. In later years, she slowly transitioned into becoming a celebrated fashion designer.
Now that the couple has been married for 24 years and shares four children together, the football star decided to share a picture from much simpler times together.
He posted a picture of the couple from way back when sitting together and cuddling a pair of puppies. He captioned the picture, “On this day 4.7.99. 24 years and counting. To the best wife , mummy & drinking partner ( most of the time ) Happy Anniversary love u so much.” The footballer added several emojis to convey his heartfelt yet humorous wish.
Of course Victoria Beckham also posted images and a tribute to her wonderful husband with three pictures, one in which she is downing a glass of wine next to her man. In her caption, she simply wrote, “Still holding hands and still laughing (with you not just at you????) I love you so much @davidbeckham xx.”
David Beckham’s throwback picture made fans emotional. One fan wrote, “She was world famous musician and he wasn’t even selected for England National Team. But still she married him & give up her successful career for him. Her sacrifice made her real winner.”

David and Victoria wed at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland on July 4, 1999. Their oldest son Brooklyn Beckham who was four months old at the time served as their ring bearer.
“He’s my soulmate, and we really support each other,” the Spice Girls said of her husband in a 2017 interview.
“I’m so proud of him. He’s such a good, kind person. He’s the most fantastic dad, supporting husband as well,” she said. “And we’re partners.”
The couple share four children together; Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, 11. Their eldest son wed Nicola Peltz in 2022.
As for what makes a marriage last, in 2015 the football legend shared his advice. David Beckham said, “We’ve got four amazing children, and you know, they’re our priority, but you have to make time for each other as well,” he reasoned. “We’re busy, but we make it work.”
