Barbara Eden makes rare red carpet appearance at 91, and everyone’s saying the same thing

Virtually all of us dream of attaining timeless beauty: good looks that never seem to fade; skin that remains smooth and supple; a smile that’s every bit as sprightly as it was in our youth.

I mean, in the grand scheme of things, appearance is far from everything, but growing old with grace is a boon that many of us secretly wish to be lucky enough to benefit from.

Of course, maintaining the same glow and vigor we had when we were young is virtually impossible. Aging is a part of being human and learning to accept the bodily transitions we go through as the years roll on is necessary if we’re to live contently.

That said, there are a lucky few who somehow manage to defy the hand of Father Time. You know the people I’m talking about; that select group of individuals who look incredible regardless of age.

For us, Barbara Eden sits firmly in that category. And we think that after you’ve seen how she looked at a recent red carpet event, you’ll wholly agree …

Barbara Eden was born in Tucson, Arizona, United States, in 1931. After her parents’ divorced, she moved to San Francisco, and there began her career studying voice at San Francisco’s Conservatory of Music.

Barbara sang in local bands at local nightclubs in Golden Gate City as a teenager. But after a while, she also decided to study acting.

“My mother said, ‘Barbara, you don’t sound like you mean a word you’re singing. I think you should study acting, too,’” Eden recalled to Closer Weekly.

Acting proved to be a good fit, and soon she moved to LA and began appearing on some of the biggest shows of the ’50s.

She first came to our screens as a semi-regular on The Johnny Carson Show in 1955, but it was her role in the famous fantasy sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie” that made her a household name.

These days, Eden has appeared in over 50 movies. At 91 years old, she’s still working!

Her last movie, My Adventures with Santa, was released in 2019, in which she played Mrs. Claus. In the same year the movie was released she starred in the stage production of “Love Letters” as Melissa Gardner.

“I feel young!” Barbara told Page 6, adding that she considered herself lucky. “I feel sorry for people like my poor father who had to work every day at something he didn’t like. I enjoy my work. I still work.”

Barbara said she continued to go to the gym, take spin classes, and lift weights up until a few years ago. These days, a trainer comes to her house to help her with resistance training.

“I have a lot of friends,” the TV legend added. “I’m pretty active socially.”

Recently, Eden took to a red carpet event in Beverley Hills and well and truly wowed onlookers with how good she looked given her age.

As per reports, she attended the red carpet for the Remus Pre-Award Tea Time event at The Beverly Hills Hotel, wearing a navy-blue satin blouse with matching black pants. She also had on pointed-toe high heels and a black and silver matching jewelry set.

Needless to say, social media had plenty to say about the iconic actress’s radiant beauty.

Back in 2021, Eden further shed some light on the potential secrets behind her staying so youthful into her 90s.

“I’m very careful about [my] diet,” she told Closer Weekly.

“I’m a carnivore… I like steak. We eat a lot of pork, chicken, steak [and] vegetables.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of Barbara Eden and all of her works. I only hope she can continue to look and feel this good for many years ahead!
