Richard Huckle acquired a reputation during his life in Great Britain. The 33-year-old was known as a party animal until he appeared at the courtroom in Old Bailey, the U.K., to stand trial on 191 counts of a sexual offense against children as you as six months old. As soon as the public learned about the crimes Huckle was accused of, they could never turn their attention away from him and let another innocent victim get into his grasp.

The trial did not linger. The judge sentenced Huckle to twenty-five years for the 191 sexual offenses he committed against innocent young children in Great Britain. Remember, some of his victims were extremely young, including a child that was just six months old at the time of the abuse.

Huckle committed so many crimes because he pretended to be a devout Christian person. He would volunteer himself to children’s organizations like orphanages and care homes, where he would teach the children and secretly prey upon their small bodies. Not only did he abuse children across England while he did his Christian work, but he also took opportunities to travel across the world, spreading his sin.

Although crimes in foreign countries cannot be proven, Huckle did work with children in places like Malaysia and Cambodia, which are home to millions of very poor people. An evil mind like Huckle could probably have thought up a million ways to abuse Christian charity to take advantage of young children when their families were in desperate need of the Lord’s saving grace.

Huckle became the “Gap Year pedophile” and kept his exploits documented in a blog. He’d give himself “PedoPoints” when he made foreign children his sexual victims.

From the age of nineteen, documents show that Huckle began amassing illegal images of children and babies. In these images, he appears to be touching and sexually assaulting the underage victims. He accumulated an estimated 20,000 images and videos, which he was able to turn around and sell at a profit to people on the black market.

Now Huckle has been murdered in prison. Reports from the scene indicate that prison officials found his body “slumped” over on his top cell floor in Category A Prison near York, England.

Police have arrested a suspect in Huckle’s prison killing. But it is possible that they might go easy on the man, given that he just ended the life of a serial child rapist and pedophile criminal.

Paul Fitzgerald is the Northern Irish man accused of killing Huckle while he served his twenty-five-year prison sentence for child abuse. Although Fitzgerald may have killed a bad man, he is quite a bad man himself. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2019 for sexually assaulting a fifteen-year-old girl and an elderly woman in Wales before going on to sexually attack a professional dogwalker.

According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Justice: “HMP Full Sutton prisoner Richard Huckle died on October 13. It would be inappropriate to comment further while a police investigation is ongoing.”
