Security Had To Escort An Audience Member From The View After He Kept Disrupting The Show

A clip of The View shared by Extinction Rebellion NYC shows the moment when a climate activist successfully interrupted the program while Texas conservative Ted Cruz appeared as a guest. The climate protestor was dragged out of the audience of the live taping of The View by a security guard after they were aggressively shouting at Republican Senator Ted Cruz during his appearance on the program.

The woman, who brazenly defied the rules of the audience on set, can be heard screaming “F**k you, Ted Cruz, you climate-denying piece of s**t.” The woman was so successful at her protest that she forced ABC to take The View to a commercial break even though they were not prepared to do so.

Ted Cruz has built his political career around denying that climate change exists. And his denial has cost the careers of hundreds of Texas farmers who are dealing with the dastardly effects of climate change, which has hit the state of Texas extremely hard in recent years.

“Do you not care about the farmers in Texas,” the climate protestors can be heard saying as she shouted at the conservative senator during his appearance on the nationally broadcast show.

After the woman was escorted off the set by The View security guards, Extinction Rebellion NYC tweeted their claim that the woman was working with their organization. They said they were behind the woman’s protest during The View.

The woman’s protest against Ted Cruz kicked off “Occupy Park Avenue,” in which New York City was bombarded with four days of climate change protests beginning on Tuesday.

The protests were orchestrated “to draw attention to the need for powerful climate action, we plan to shut down Park Avenue each day,” the group’s popular website stated.

Ted Cruz appeared on The View on Monday and was interrupted by the climate protestors. Another video, which was shared by the New York Communities for Change organization, showed two other activists interrupting Cruz while he spoke to the hosts of The View.

The protests from the audience drew the attention of host Whoopi Goldberg, who addressed the audience with kindness, stating, “Excuse me, ladies. Let us do our job. We hear what you have to say, but you got to go. You got to go. You got to let us do our job.”

Following the climate protests during The View on Monday, ABC shared a statement with Daily Mail about the incidents proclaiming: “Three members of the audience interrupted The View today during Sen. Ted Cruz’s appearance protesting about climate. They were promptly escorted out by security.”

During his appearance on The View, hosts asked Cruz why he continued to support Donald Trump after he called Cruz’s wife ugly and suggested Cruz’s family was responsible for the assassination of President Robert F. Kennedy.

Despite the January 6 rebellion, Cruz blamed Democrats for America’s problems and double-down on the Republican Party promise of “life, liberty, and security.”
