Colby Covington has a bone to pick with NBA star LeBron James. The UFC fighter, who is a vocal supporter of President Trump, decided to come out and attack LeBron James by wearing an offensive T-shirt. The sleeveless shirt looks simple from the shoulders up, but emblazoned across Covington’s chest was the phrase, “F**K LEBRON.” On social media, in a post, before he wore the offensive shirt, Covington attacked the “woke” athlete, calling him a “spineless coward.”
Covington took a photo of him wearing the shocking shirt while sandwiched between two bikini models. The image was meant to be a snarky “congratulations” to Lebron because the Los Angeles Lakers attracted low audience numbers for the NBA finals.
“Congratulations are in order for my good buddy, LeBron James,” Covington stated. “Congrats, LeBron, on setting the record for the least-watched NBA finals in history. You wish you could blame it on the pandemic, but everybody’s just sick of your woke bulls***. And while the NBA’s ratings are going down, the UFC’s are going up. Just like our bank accounts.”
Covington’s remarks about the popularity of the NBA finals had truth to them. Game 3 of the NBA Finals, which were between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat, earned a 3.1 average rating, which meant it attracted about 5.94 million viewers. According to Sports Media Watch, Game 3 was the least-watched NBA Finals game on record.
Following a victory in Las Vegas last month against Tyron Woodley, whom Covington defeated in the fifth round via TKO, he went on a rant against LeBron James.
“[First responders] keep this world safe, not these woke athletes, man,” Covington said. “I’m sick of these woke athletes, these spineless cowards like LeBron James.”
LeBron James brushed off Covington’s harsh comment. He also offered an opportunity for Covington to prove his manhood against James.
“Anybody can talk from outside, but if they got into the ring or got into the arena, probably ten times out of 10, they’d s*** their pants.”

Covington laughed “at the snowflakes that believe LeBron James could even last 10 seconds with me! If that coward had the balls or the ability to kick anyone’s a*s, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit!”
The UFC fighter was talking about the rumor that West had an affair with James’s mother.
Previously, Trump congratulated Covington on his UFC success.
“I’m proud of you, man,” Trump said. “I’m a big fan, and I’m proud of you. You’re tough. You have the right spirit.”
