Bikini photos are extremely popular on social media platforms like Instagram. Celebrities know this. However, they’re not always appreciated for their scantily clad images. Fifty-four-year-old actor Salma Hayek has recently been sharing several images of herself in a bikini swimsuit. Although most people agree that the middle-aged star looks stunning at her age, she has also been inundated with criticism for sharing the bikini photos in the first place.
Critics don’t appreciate how many photos Hayek has been sharing of herself. Although some fans delight in seeing Hayek having fun in the sun at the beach, there are others who wish she wouldn’t showcase her taught body as much in the bikini pictures. As a result of this, Hayek has received some backlash for sharing her swimsuit photos on the social media platform. But that does not mean that she has any plans to stop sharing pictures anytime soon – much to the delight of her super fans.
“I’m glad I took a lot of pictures. I have no shame on it because it was the first week of the vacation,” she told Entertainment Tonight. In general, she finds sharing these honest pictures of herself on Instagram to be a “liberating” experience. She doesn’t have any plans to stop showing off her fit body despite being a fifty-four-year-old woman.
Because Hayek has collected a number of photos featuring her in bikinis, she has decided to start posting them to her social media page. She figures that she can delight some of her fans by showing off the fun stuff she gets to do in between work as a high-paid celebrity actor.
“I saved my pictures; I’m not in the same condition today, and I’m spreading the love out like every two weeks,” she admitted. “I’m going to put up another one. I’m almost running out of them, but I don’t know if you have that feeling, like, 2021!”
Hayek understands that some of her fans may be sick of seeing her dress in next to nothing, but she loves her body and how she looks in the photos. Because it is her social media page, she wants to share the photos and does not have plans to stop spreading the images across the internet anytime in the near future.
“People are sick of it, but I’m going to let them take a break,” she said, laughing. “They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location.”
Hayek has more than eighteen million followers on Instagram alone. Some of her bikini photos have been very popular – despite the naysayers – earning as many as two million likes per image. However, Hayek fills her Instagram page with so much more than just pictures of her in bikinis. There are many shots featuring her behind-the-scenes on various sets, as well as images taken during her downtime at home. She may love the way she looks, but she has more going on than her attractiveness.
Hayek will appear in a new Marvel movie, Eternals, alongside Kumail Nanjiani, Angelina Jolie, and other stars. The movie’s production has been delayed due to the pandemic.
