Police Are Trying To Figure Out Who Murdered The Pedophile Drag Queen

A 39-year-old drag queen, who was a convicted sex offender pedophile, was found dead in the street in a full drag costume after going out with friends for a night out. Darren Moore was reported missing after a night out with friends and simply disappeared until his body was found massacred in the street by unknown assailants. Moore was a popular drag queen known as Crystal Couture and was well-known in the gay scene across the United Kingdom.

Moore was dressed in drag with a large blonde wig, full face makeup, large false breasts, a yellow dress with frilly sleeves, and a matching purse when he went missing on the night of his apparent murder in the British streets. Moore was a convicted sex offender and pedophile who was convicted of attacking an underage victim in the past.

In addition to his drag queen persona Crystal Couture, he also performed in the British drag circuit as CC Quinn. He was found dead in the early morning hours in the Cardiff city center.

Police are calling Moore’s apparent murder a “sudden and unexplained” death and are asking members of the public to come forward if they have more information about why Moore went missing and what might have happened to the popular drag queen.

On Tuesday, the spot where Moore’s body was found was cordoned off by police investigators. Locals also dropped off flowers at the spot where Moore’s mangled body was found in honor of the popular drag queen.

Now, members of the British LGBTQ community in Cardiff are coming forward to claim that Moore’s murder was a hate crime and are calling on police officers to take Moore’s murder seriously before other drag queens get targeted with violent hate.

When Moore was a teenager, living under his previous name Darren Sewell, he was convicted of four counts of rape of a boy under the age of sixteen In Barry, South Whales. He spent three years of a hard time in the Young Offenders’ Institution in Great Britain.

As part of his punishment, Moore (AKA Sewell) was barred from having contact with children. However, he allegedly violated this order in 2011 while working with youth in Cardiff as a gymnastics and dance teacher. He was sentenced to three years of a sex offender treatment program. The program included twenty-four months of supervision, three hundred hours of unpaid volunteer work, and a six-month curfew monitored by an electronic tag.

Moore became a British gay icon when he was chosen to represent British Airways at the Pride Festival in Brighton. He worked as a drag queen on the British Airways float that toured the pride festival.

He later debuted his Crystal Couture personality, which was an act available “for audiences large and small and of all ages” and “available for weddings, christening, birthdays, and celebrations if (sic) all types.”

Moore changed his name to Moore when he married his long-term partner, who was also named Darren.
